JOB SUMMARY:

As a Pharmacy Technician, you will assist the pharmacist(s) in storing, preparing, dispensing, reconciling, and charging of all medication to patients serviced by the pharmacy. Assists the pharmacist(s) in maintaining an adequate drug inventory and quality control procedures. The Pharmacy Technician shall work under the direct supervision of a licensed registered pharmacist and shall only perform activities that follow the State Board of Pharmacy practices. Ensures company’s goals and objectives are aligned with the organization’s broader mission, vision, and driving strategies. Directly accountable and reports to the Pharmacy Manager.

Coordinates patient services. Assesses appropriateness of therapy, dispenses medications, supplies and medical equipment, documents patient progress toward goals, intervenes as clinically appropriate and provides education regarding appropriate medication administration and use.
